1-on-1 Technique Coaching for High School Track
Get coaching that’s 100% focused on your goals for next season from a coach that develops SPEED first.
I’m based in Broomfield, serving 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders from Denver to Boulder.
I’ve helped local teenage hurdlers learn technique, rehearse race strategy, and build confidence for their high school track seasons.

Speed & Confidence Are My Specialties
Want to feel confident holding rhythm for the 300 hurdle race?
Want to feel stronger out of the blocks in the 100/110?
Perfect, that’s exactly what I help high school track athletes do!
I became a coach because, in high school, I got no coaching on my hurdle technique at all. It was really discouraging to believe I could do well in track, yet not know how to get better.
Instead of waiting for track season just hoping you’ll magically get faster, how about learning great sprint technique, mastering your hurdle form, practicing your drive and top speed phases, and timing everything so you KNOW you’re faster?
That’s how I coach. Get faster with good technique first, then the confidence comes.

What Happens During 1-on-1 Coaching For High School Sprinters?
After our athlete-coach-parent phone consultation, the first practice is all about assessment. We’ll look at the warmup you already know, check on any injuries, then measure flying sprints as a baseline of your top speed.
Each practice after that develops a part of your race.
Speed comes first, so we do high-quality, high-focus sprint drills and timed runs every practice. For your hurdle technique, we start with cut step and trail leg mechanics, then build body awareness over the hurdle, and introduce the 3-step rhythm in drills.
As we build each part of your race with 1-on-1 practices and assigned homework, I also guide you through multi-jumps, medicine ball throws, and strength training to develop you into a strong, powerful, well-rounded athlete.
Every practice we measure something. We repeat your baseline speed tests every 3-4 weeks and you will get faster nearly every time.
By the time you reach your next season, teammates will want to know how you improved so much!
